Some hours ago I found some xterm source: #190, as it seems, on (IIRC)
<ftp://invisible-island.net/xterm/xterm.tar.gz>
I compiled it on ppc/Titanium4. Played with it a bit this evening. No
problems, as it seems, when logging out of Gnome any more. Except the
very first time after the first compile. But after this first "accident"
(might be related to other Gnome stuff), logging in and out of Gnome,
without the need to close down xterms manually before the logout, worked
like a charm.
To make sure you know what I'm talking about, here's an excerpt from

Official Debian ppc/unstable doesn't have #190, yet, IINM.
