When I try to upgrade from xserver-xfree86 4.1.0-2, I get the following
complaint from dpkg:

Preparing to replace xserver-xfree86 4.1.0-2 (using .../xserver-xfree86_4.3.0.dfsg.1-1_i386.deb) ...
ln: /etc/X11/X.dpkg-old': File exists
dpkg: error processing /var/cache/apt/archives/xserver-xfree86_4.3.0.dfsg.1-1_i386.deb (--unpack):
subprocess pre-installation script returned error exit status 1
debconf: Unknown template field 'escription-pt_br', in stanza #28 of
/var/lib/dpkg/info/xserver-xfree86.templates

Errors were encountered while processing:
 /var/cache/apt/archives/xserver-xfree86_4.3.0.dfsg.1-1_i386.deb
E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1)

(I'm pretty sure that the 'X.dpkg-old' part isn't the problem, but I've
included it for completeness.)

I've looked through the file it references, and I can't find a field by that
description. The bug might be with dpkg, I guess, but this is the first and
only time I've ever seen it (dpkg upgraded lots of other packages fine at
the same time).

It's certainly not present in 4.3.0.dfsg.1-1 on my machines.

Closing as unreproducible.
