Bug#234535: xserver dies if I start gimp with LANG=no_NO.UTF-8

Can you try starting the X server with startx instead, after running
"ulimit -c unlimited", and then try to reproduce the problem?

Does the X server leave a core dump?

If so, can you then run:

$ gdb $(which XFree86) core
[...]
(gdb) bt full

...and send this bug the output?
