Yes. A high percentage of all server crash reports we receive happen when xscreensaver is running. This is probably because the graphics engine is in a bad state and the the driver-specific LeaveVT() logic doesn't succeed in unscrewing it. All I can suggest as a workaround is to configure xscreensaver to not use the screenhacks that seem to cause trouble. -- G.
