Bug#238918: xserver-xfree86: resize events mismanaged on a compaq armada - 16mb ram pentium (60?)

branden, hi,

i loaded xbomb onto my own machine: i get exactly the same issue.
my other machine is an acer travelmate c100 (p3 800mhz)

i tend _not_ to get the same issue so much on a 1.7ghz AMD machine,
however.

that would tend to suggest that the faster the processor, the less
likely the problem.

expecting email to be received and understood is a bit like
picking up the telephone and immediately dialing without
checking for a dial-tone; speaking immediately without listening
for either an answer or ring-tone; hanging up immediately and
believing that you have actually started a conversation.
