retitle 238375 xutils: [lndir] can create incorrect links because it uses stat() instead of lstat()
tag 238375 + upstream
thanks

Because:

1) it's built by the xfree86 source package;
2) it doesn't merit a whole package to itself;
3) it doesn't depend on any X libraries.

The current xutils package description says:

Description: X Window System utility programs
 xutils provides a set of utility programs shipped with the X Window System
 that do not require the X libraries; many of these programs are useful
 even on a system that does not have any X clients or X servers installed.
[...]

Hopefully this information is useful to you.

Thank you for the report.
