You did not include a description of your problem in the body of your bug
report.
Are you saying that the "discover" command hangs?
If so, does it hang from the command-line?

Yes, it does.
When I run 'apt-get install' processing stops with
'discover --format=... video' process hanged. When I run gdb on this
discover process, it looks like it hangs in libc close() function,
called from close_serial_port() (libdiscover.so.1). If I enter
'c(ontinue)' discover continues and prints correct video card description.
So it looks as a discover bug (I will report it), but why does discover
scans for serial ports? I have 'disable serial' in my /etc/discover.conf.
