Package: xfree86-common
Version: 4.2.1-16
Severity: normal

I have installed xfree86-common as part of the dependencies for
vncserver. This machine does not run a local X server.

Attempting to start the terminal emulator 'rxvt' fails for me with the
error:
        rxvt: can't load color "Black"
        rxvt: can't load color "Black"
        rxvt: aborting

On investigation I notice that

        $ ls -l /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/rgb.txt
        ... 16 2004-02-07 13:28 /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/rgb.txt -> /etc/X11/rgb.txt
        $ ls -l /etc/X11/rgb.txt
        ls: /etc/X11/rgb.txt: No such file or directory

and

        $ dpkg -S rgb.txt
        xfree86-common: /etc/X11/rgb.txt
        xfree86-common: /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/rgb.txt

I believe this could be related to the problem. I do not know if rgb.txt
should be in the package xfree86-common, but I do believe that this
dangling symlink should not result from normal package installation.
