Bug#232390: libxrender1: Text end up on the wrong place with dual head

Package: libxrender1
Version: 0.8.3-5
Severity: normal

When using applications which use anti-aliased fonts (like Mozilla 1.5,
gnome-terminal, etc.) I often see some texts being placed on the wrong
position on the screen, outside of the window of the application! The
text is not drawn where it should have been. I think it only occurs in
combination with dual head systems (Xinerama), since I haven't seen this
problem on my other system, which has the same software installed, but
no dual head. I'd be happy to provide a screenshot for those interested.

This behaviour is realy annoying! It makes my desktop look like a mess,
if several texts (sometimes in very big fonts) are printed all over my
desktop...

Note that I'm not sure in what library the bug is, but libxrender1 was
my best guess.

By the way: I'm using a Matrox G450DH video card here, with the Matrox
drivers.
