Hm, is there any way I can find this out?

This also doesn't explain why the font looks so ugly. Every character
is in the upper left region of a rectangular box, with quite a lot of
space between the characters. I currently use a non-aliases
misc-fixed-medium-r-normal--18-120-100-100-c-90-iso10646-1 and when I
want to get the same amount of characters on one xterm with
an anti-aliased font, I have to chose a much smaller font size (10
pixels). The characters also look somewhat distorted.

I can attach a screenshot (maybe one or two lines of output) if you'd
like.

Kind regards
     Friedel
