I disagree.  It's worth someone's time, though perhaps not ours, to tell
users to check the manual page specific to their X server for
instructions on how to stop the X server.

Someday, perhaps Dan Jacobson will take a break from filing bugs to
learn some basic groff/an macro skills, and then he can file bugs with
*patches*.

This is an upstream issue and I've already tagged as it such.  It can
stay open until someone is motivated to fix it.
