Bug#204688: Support synaptics touchpad under linux 2.6.0
Package: xserver-xfree86
Version: 4.2.1-9
I've installed the 2.6.0-test2 kernel, and it has a driver for the
synaptics touchpad. However, to get the mouse events from the kernel
into the x server I seem to need another driver in xfree. According to
the documentation for MOUSE_PS2 in the kernel, you need the driver at
http://w1.894.telia.com/~u89404340/touchpad/.
In earlier kernels I could just use /dev/psaux, but now I get nothing
there, and nothing in /dev/input/mice. /dev/input/event1, however, get
input when I move the mouse, so maybe an evdev driver would work too.
