Bug#220864: Searching a solution to the issue

Well, as Mr Robinson said in this bug report, the cause of the problem is
known.

But my English is quite bad I'm afraid that a easy solution is not given in
this thread. It has been said that the problem resides in the exec-shield
patch applied to the GCC compiler included in Sid. It have been also said
that there are some related XFree86's patches for avoiding the problem.
Well, my questions are:

Where can I get a APT repository with the patched version of XFree86?

Can I compile XFree86 with my Sid's GCC compiler in some way that make
the problem dissapear?

How can I switch off exec-shield?

For me, the "Not loading .note.GNU-stack" problem is serious, because
it causes my X to crash. I'm working with a ATI Radeon8500 propietary
driver. It worked fine with Woody, but when I updated to Sid, the "Not
loading .note.GNU-stack" issue makes it impossible to keep the same
configuration (I downloaded the right driver and build it with my Sid
compiler, but still fails).

Greeting and sorry about my poor English skills.
