Bug#205916: general: opengl isn't running properly. can run glxgears and window shows but nothing in it.

 You do realize that a bug report like this will hardly let anyone
 figure out what's wrong, lest help you, right?

 That said, what happens if you run "glxinfo"?  After that, try
 "glxgears".  If both of those work, then your problem is not with the
 basic OpenGL setup.  If they don't, look in /var/log/XFree86.0.log and
 search for errors related to "glx".
