New Revision: 65

Modified:
   people/daniel/STATUS
Log:
I pinged all the porters tonight, and I've added the status of all the ports wrt
answering pings, how far along the port is, etc, to STATUS, which probably means
this file will be updated a bit in days to come.

merging Sven Luther's SDK stuff and abolishing Xcursor next, followed by
whatever else props up; TinyX could be a distant speck.

-LaMont's hppa stuff hasn't actually been imported yet, because I screwed up the
-'clean' rule. :P
+I pinged all architecture maintainers other than i386, powerpc and alpha on 26th
+May, 10:30pm +1100, asking for fresh builds (hppa, hurd-i386, ia64, sparc,
+s390), or porting assistance (arm, bsd, m68k, mips, mipsel, sh[34], x86-64).
+Here's the results of those pings as of the date at the bottom of the file:

-Known good on: alpha, hurd-i386, i386, powerpc, sparc.
-Waiting on: hppa (MANIFEST), ia64 (Bdale to build, should be OK), s390 (several
-xkb issues to chase up).
-Not even started: arm, freebsd-*, m68k, netbsd-*, sh[34]{,eb}, maybe others.
+alpha: No ping required (I have access to a slow alpha).
+ Status: known good.
+arm: No response (list query).
+ Status: not even started.
+bsd: Robert Millan responded to personal query about 10:45 same day,
+ will hopefully get the chance to start doing test builds soon.
+ Status: not even started, Robert Millan to look at within the week.
+hppa: No response (personal query to LaMont Jones).
+ Status: should build and work with MANIFEST update, LaMont to build soon.
+hurd-i386: Robert Millan responded to personal query about 10:45 same day,
+ will build hurd-i386 within the week - may need MANIFEST update.
+ Status: known good - awaiting fresh build.
+ia64: No response (personal query to Bdale Garbee).
+ Status: builds, unknown as to whether it works (awaiting fresh build).
+i386: No ping required (I have several i386 machines).
+ Status: known good.
+m68k: No response (list query).
+ Status: not even started.
+mips/mipsel: No response (list query).
+ Status: not even started.
+powerpc: No ping required (I have a dual G4 at work).
+ Status: known good.
+sh[34]: No response (list query).
+ Status: not even started.
+s390: No response (personal query to Bastian Blank).
+ Status: started, issues with building - get new build log from Bastian to
+ clarify.
+sparc: No response (personal query to Dagfinn Ilmari).
+ Status: works, some minor xkb issues; awaiting fresh build.
+x86-64: No response (list query).
+ Status: not even started.

 To be done:
   * Remove all Xcursor stuff, to be built externally.
+ * Chase up porters.
   * Look at Sven Luther's SDK stuff to see if it's worth importing.
   * Look at building TinyX.
+ Which architectures does it build/work on?
