[DanielS!daniel@pila.trinity.unimelb.edu.au] xlibmesa3/xlibmesa4 went to
xlibmesa4-gl and xlibmesa4-glu
[DanielS!daniel@pila.trinity.unimelb.edu.au] xlibmesa4-gl has libGL, -glu has
libGLU
[DanielS!daniel@pila.trinity.unimelb.edu.au] but if GLU depends on GL, then
there's no reason to have the package split
(->DanielS) if it has been split, why does it use a lot of libGL symbols?
(->DanielS) try running LD_TRACE_LOADED_OBJECTS=1 LD_BIND_NOW=1
LD_TRACE_PRELINKING=t /lib/ld-linux.so.2 /usr/X11R6/lib/libGLU.so.1 | grep
^undefined
[DanielS!daniel@pila.trinity.unimelb.edu.au] unsure
(->DanielS) I do not know about these libraries, but if it uses libGL I
suppose it should depend on it...
(->DanielS) my only package using it is libsdl-perl, which links both (and
this is why it works at all)
