Yes, it turns out this patch was reverted upstream on Monday (February
24th).

I'll revert it for 4.2.1-7.  Thanks!

BTW, in the future, please consider using the "reportbug" package and
command, or including the information requested in XF86Config(7) when
reporting bugs against xserver-xfree86 in the future.
