but if you touch the keyboard, it is ok, right ?
Most probably, it is the screen saver you are running which kills X.
Could you try running it by hand, to confirm this, and then post the log
of X (/var/log/XFree86.0.log) and maybe of the screensaver ?
Disabling (or removing) the screensaver (package) would be a temporary
workaround.
