4.2.0-0pre1v3 - problems on C&T69000

Hi,

I installed the experimental debs on my laptop (Compaq Armada 1500c) with a
Chips & Technologies F69000 HiQVideo (rev 100) video chipset. I'm getting
random, very hard, lockups (no ping, alt-sysrq-sync/umount doesn't work, no
kernel oops). The laptop is running an up-to-date sid with a 2.4.18 kernel
(with no special patches applied).

OTOH, it works very well on my desktop sytstem with an NVIDIA TNT2 (both
with the free and binary-only drivers).

Thanks for the excellent work on the Debian X packages - it is much
appreciated.
