Can you mail this list the output of the following?

dpkg -S etc/X11/xkb /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/xkb /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/xkb/compiled

For each of the packages listed by this command, can you show us the
version numbers you currently have installed?  E.g.,:

dpkg -l xfree86-common xbase-clients
