Well, the patch i send included 3 parts :

o commenting out the regbwe function in mach64im.c

=> this function is no longer present in mach64im.c

  o changing mach64util.c to mach64util.h in Imakefile.

=> The imakefile is changed, and don't seem to include these
  LinkSourceFile( lines anymore.

o disabling regw for ppc in machutil.h

=> This stuff does not seem to be available anymore, the reg* being
defined in regmach64.h, and include this stuff with apparently proper
  ppc support.
debian/patches/008_POWERPC+SPARC_mach64_fixes.diff i think is the one
  including this.

BTW, should defined(__mc6800__) not be defined(__mc68000__) ?

maybe this is the reason this particular problems does happen on m68k
and not on ppc anymore ?

So, in conclusion, i think we could close this bug with clear concience,
if i don't hear back from you in the next few days or so, i will do it.
