I see. hummm, BTW we would expect it to act like "ls". Obviously it matches more:
$ xlsfonts taip*
-eten-fixed-medium-r-normal--16-150-75-75-c-160-big5.eten-0
-eten-fixed-medium-r-normal--24-230-75-75-c-240-big5.eten-0
taipei16
taipei24
OK, mention it will get aliases etc.
