That is beyond the intended scope of the X server debconf support. In the meantime, however, users inexperienced with the syntax of the XF86Config (or XF86Config-4) file may use dexconf to generate the X server configuration file with a minimal amount of detailed knowledge of their hardware characteristics. The purpose of this config tool is to get a usable single-head configuration going for people who know nothing of the X Window System or XFree86. -- G.
