X 4.0.2 Hangs on laptop
Hi,
I had X 4.0.2-7 working just fine on my laptop (neomagic) untill I decided to
install nautilus. I'm not sure if this had anything to do with it, but when
launching nautilus X just hung and started consuming all the of my cpu. I
ssh's into the machine and rebooted. Now X starts but it never gets to
showing me the X windows. It just sits there running at 95+% continuously and
all I have is a black screen. I can't get back to the console either. Even
when I ssh into my machine and kill X, the screen stays black and I can't get
to a console. What could be wrong? Attached is the log file, although it
doesn't seem to indicate anything.
