Branden, Can you please apply the patch at http://creatis-www.insa-lyon.fr/~bellet/XVideo/trident.html? It promisses to fix the problems I've been experiencing. I am downloading the X source now to try applying it, and will let you know how it works. I'm almost upset that this hasn't been integrated upstream (or has it, in CVS?)
