I have that symbolic links for it, but no file. X was working fine before I updated it. Now, kdm and konsole will not start because it cannot locate that library. Here is what I have in my lib dir: /usr/X11R6/lib -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 121186 Jun 19 06:11 /usr/X11R6/lib/libXft.a lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 11 Jun 19 18:05 /usr/X11R6/lib/libXft.so -> libXft.so.1 lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 13 Jun 20 08:00 /usr/X11R6/lib/libXft.so.1 -> libXft.so.1.0 What do I need to do to get that file back? -- Curtis Robinson crobinso@fit.edu ----- End forwarded message ----- -- G.
