 No, 4.0.1-1 based on XFree86 4.0.1d,  4.0.1-3 or later (perhaps since
4.0.1-7) based on XFree86 4.0.1e. Please read changes.Debian.gz detal.

 Branden Robinson said in other mail on this list:

 And I checked CHANGELOG of upstream, some fixes comes out since
4.0.1f (after 4.0.1e).  So would better wait to upload 4.0.1-8, I
think.
