I came across Debian Bug Report #924889 regarding the implementation of a drop-down selector (without JS) to switch the language of the website. This seems like an interesting issue that I believe we could handle effectively.
The current footer language list can be cumbersome, and implementing a drop-down would enhance usability significantly, I'd love to collaborate with anyone interested in this task.
