Dear Maintainer,
* What led up to the situation?
Installation of recommended USB WIFI device TP-Link TL WN821N which is listed
on WIKI as "confirmed to work"
* What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or
ineffective)?
built kernel module following guide on page "https://wiki.debian,org/wifi"; - No
Errors on build nor installation of module - on 4.19.0-5-amd64 however recived
the following error in system log: x86/modules: Skipping invalid relocation
target, existing value is nonzero for type 1, loc 00000000da5661c0, val
ffffffffc0f35572"
Removed module, rebooted, ran "make clean", "make", "make install". Same
resultes.
Please note that under 5.3.0-1-amd64 will NOT make (after a make clean) due to
multiple errors.
* What was the outcome of this action?
x86/modules: Skipping invalid relocation target, existing value is nonzero for
type 1, loc 00000000da5661c0, val ffffffffc0f35572
* What outcome did you expect instead?
Expected module to execute and device function properly as listed in Guide.
