Re: Typo in /devel/wnpp/index.html

Hi,

Strictly speaking, it is not a typo. Please see also https://www.debian.org/doc/manuals/developers-reference/pkgs.html#upload-bugfix ,

"Technically speaking, the following Perl regular _expression_ describes how bug closing changelogs are identified:

/closes:\s*(?:bug)?\#\s*\d+(?:,\s*(?:bug)?\#\s*\d+)*/ig

We prefer the closes: #XXX syntax, as it is the most concise entry and the easiest to integrate with the text of the changelog."

Surely it might be better if we unify the grammar used on the same page.

Hi www-List,

I think I found a little mistake on the website that -- imho -- should
be corrected.

In the paragraph

"Of course, the easiest way of closing these bugs is to include an entry
in the package changelog saying what you've done and append (closes:
bug#nnnnn) to it. This way the bug will be closed automatically after
the new package gets installed into the archive."

there's the howto to close the bug "(closes:
bug#nnnnn)". I think it should be "(Closes: #bugnumber)" as it is in the
paragraph "Removing entries" - "O".

Best regards
