Bug#875433: marked as done ([packages]: File list data hasn't been updated for years)

regarding [packages]: File list data hasn't been updated for years

This means that you claim that the problem has been dealt with.

Bug report if necessary, and/or fix the problem forthwith.

I'm opening a bug so the problem reported below don't get lost.
I can reproduce the problem. However I tested a different package
(dianara) and the links worked both for official and unofficial

A similar problem is mentioned in #790774 and #777035 but those refer to
experimental, not sid, so maybe it's a different bug.

 sorry for the large delay in addressing this.  This seems to be an
issue since the change of the Contents files to by-hash symlinks, which
seems to have been done July 2017 because the filelists db files got
last updated back then.

 Given that the safeguard in the parsing script was doesn't apply anmore
since the removal of wheezy, removing the symlink check in there was the
sane move: https://deb.li/S6tc

 Sorry for any inconvenience this caused, and that it took so long to
get it fixed. :/
