Dear Maintainer,

Debian 8 "Jessie" Version 304.131 (legacy GPUs) Section 3 should include:

aptitude install xserver-xorg-video-nvidia-legacy-304xx

This package is not installed by any scripts noted in the wiki or in the
xserver-xorg-video-all package during the initial installation.

This isn't necessary, because nvidia-legacy-304xx-kernel-dkms
recommends nvidia-legacy-304xx-driver, which depends on
xserver-xorg-video-nvidia-legacy-304xx. Assuming that you haven't
turned off recommends, it looks like the issue is that version
specification in the recommends (>= 304.134) doesn't match the version
of nvidia-legacy-304xx-driver in stable (304.134-0~deb8u1). So please
install and test nvidia-legacy-304xx-driver 304.134-0~deb8u1, if it
works, please file an important severity bug against
nvidia-legacy-304xx-kernel-dkms suggesting that the recommends be
changed to (>= 304.134~) so that it matches all of the versions. You
can quote this command in your bug report to prove that the current
recommends relation doesn't match the version of
nvidia-legacy-304xx-driver in stable.

dpkg --compare-versions 304.134-0~deb8u1 '>=' 304.134 && echo true
