Re: Package download



Hi and thanks for the response!

I've found that the packages mentioned in the emails are usually not
available in the apt-get repositories at the time of the security
bulletin. I presume this is because mirrors are not continuously
updated. Can't see what to do about that except find the package
individually and install it. And that's where I run into the problem
that the versions mentioned in the security bulletins are difficult to find.

Is there a particular repository or mirror that gets updated first?
