Package: www.debian.org Severity: minor Note: In February 1998 a group moved to replace the term "Free Software" with "Open Source Software". As will become clear in the discussion below, they both refer to essentially the same thing. In fact, they are not. Also, the page does not mention Open Source again, so it doesn't become clear at all "in the discussion below". Free software is a superset of open source software. They are not the same. If you insist, then you must make it clearer that you are talking about the OSI definition of open source. -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers testing APT policy: (600, 'testing'), (98, 'unstable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.6-1-k7 Locale: LANG=en_GB.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_GB.UTF-8 -- Please do not CC me when replying to lists; I read them! .''`. martin f. krafft <madduck@debian.org> : :' : proud Debian developer, admin, and user `. `'` `- Debian - when you have better things to do than fixing a system Invalid/expired PGP subkeys?
