Bug#659070: www.debian.org: internal links point to English pages in <http://www.debian.org/doc/manuals/developers-reference/index.fr.html>

reassign 659070 developers-reference
thanks

Hi Luca,

Thanks for your report, it looks like a known issue not yet documented.

I beg to disagree here: the dev-ref should make its internal links and
HTML pages name under the <pagename>.<ll>.html form like every other
Debian documentation. Doing so would allow us to keep
	http://www.d.o/doc/manuals/developers-reference/<pagename>
as a proper CN link, and avoid the current symlink workaround used on
the website:

http://anonscm.debian.org/gitweb/?p=debwww/cron.git;a=blob;f=parts/7doc_manuals

Since the dev-ref is currently shipped from its package (not build from
its source on www-master), one can safely work on that bug without any
fear to break the website. Once pending, some coordination will be
needed with the webmasters before the upload, in order to remove the
current trick (and eventually prepare another (Redirect) workaround to
keep the old links active).

Regards

David
