I have tried everything else. I hope you can help. My digests have been
garbled for several months. No subjects listed and the header and
message reversed. I made several inquiries but never got a response. I
then tried to cancel using an email with unsubscribe in the subject
block. I also tried the unsubscribe web page. In both cases I received
the missive shown below:It has been requested that the following address: gary719_list1@verizon.net should be deleted from the debian-user mailing list. Sorry, but this address has NOT been found on the list. Please check carefully the spelling of this address. You may send an unsubscribe request with another address. If the address is on the list you will receive a confirmation message. A reply to this message will remove the address. It follows a copy of your unsubscribe request >From gary719_list1@verizon.net Sat Jul 7 02:06:43 2012 <gary719_list1@verizon.net> X-Original-To: lists-debian-user-request@bendel.debian.org Delivered-To: lists-debian-user-request@bendel.debian.org Received: from localhost (localhost [127.0.0.1]) by bendel.debian.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id E8A1E2C8 for <lists-debian-user-request@bendel.debian.org>; Sat, 7 Jul 2012 02:06:43 +0000 (UTC) X-Virus-Scanned: at lists.debian.org with policy bank request X-Spam-Flag: NO X-Spam-Score: -5.01 X-Spam-Level: X-Spam-Status: No, score=-5.01 tagged_above=-10000 required=5.3 tests=[LDO_WHITELIST=-5, RCVD_IN_DNSWL_NONE=-0.0001, T_RP_MATCHES_RCVD=-0.01] autolearn=ham Received: from bendel.debian.org ([127.0.0.1]) by localhost (lists.debian.org [127.0.0.1]) (amavisd-new, port 2525) with ESMTP id Ga4O6nTPvdTn for <lists-debian-user-request@bendel.debian.org>; Sat, 7 Jul 2012 02:06:39 +0000 (UTC) X-policyd-weight: using cached result; rate: -6.9 X-Greylist: delayed 3616 seconds by postgrey-1.33 at bendel; Sat, 07 Jul 2012 02:06:38 UTC Received: from vms173015pub.verizon.net (vms173015pub.verizon.net [206.46.173.15]) by bendel.debian.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id DB6B6C1 for <debian-user-request@lists.debian.org>; Sat, 7 Jul 2012 02:06:26 +0000 (UTC) Received: from [192.168.1.7] ([unknown] [71.107.41.213]) by vms173015.mailsrvcs.net (Sun Java(tm) System Messaging Server 7u2-7.02 32bit (built Apr 16 2009)) with ESMTPA id <0M6R008WLN2IFY80@vms173015.mailsrvcs.net> for debian-user-request@lists.debian.org; Fri, 06 Jul 2012 20:06:18 -0500 (CDT) Message-id: <4FF78B8A.50809@verizon.net> Disposition-notification-to: Gary Roach <gary719_list1@verizon.net> Date: Fri, 06 Jul 2012 18:06:18 -0700 From: Gary Roach <gary719_list1@verizon.net> User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.9.1.16) Gecko/20120507 Icedove/3.0.11 MIME-version: 1.0 To: debian-user-request@lists.debian.org Subject: unsubscribe pleeeeese!
