I do agree with that. But as I've argued in this bug log, that is a
separate issue. What you suggest doing is actually the big task which
underlies #388141. That shall be done, but the need of doing that should
not hinder, imho, other improvements in our copyright declarations such
as making clear that SPI is not the sole copyright owner of the debian
website.

I was by no mean implying that fixing this bug should stop us from
fixing #388141 (in fact, that is why I've reported a _separate_ bug).
