Thanks for spotting it. As advised in the website [0], you should not
hesitate to fix such typo when you catch some. In order not to bother
translators, the ./smart_change.pl comes handy to bump the translation
check in the mean time (I just assumed that other translators just used
their usual translation of this part and didn't bother to have a close
look at it like you did, I know for sure that's what the lazy French
translator did ;-).

I first made sure to have an up to date repository:
$ cvs update */News/2011
then fixed the typo and bump the translation check:
$ ./smart_change.pl english/News/2011/20110423.wml
of course checked first I won't commit something nasty:
$ cvs diff */News/2011/20110423.wml
and then committed the changes, thanks to your remark:
$ cvs commit -m'some meaningful commit log' */News/2011/20110423.wml
