simple question about MoinMoin

I have a simple question about Debian wiki, why MoinMoin exactly......?
Why not dokuwiki......? (KISS) ;)
Why not mediawiki.....? (hummm not, replicationes are more complex)

 I think that the structure of Debian Wiki is complicated.
