Bug#364913: Please reconsider i18n friendly vote pages

Hello,
with you as the new secretary I noted that the voting machinery has
changed, i.e.:
revision 1.2
date: 2009-02-28 00:46:51 +0100;  author: kroeckx;  state: Exp; lines: +1 -1; commitid: mwCYulXLKcTWa8Et;
Fix year and don't copy unused files yet.

Before updating my scripts I would like to ask how the new rules are
looking like and if i18n could (finally) be considered for the vote
pages as well?

Please see the bug trail, but almost all parts of the web page are now
using po for translating fixed strings (which are many within the bug
pages!) so using them in the bug pages as well would be a good start.

I don't think Jutta is active in web page maintenance anymore, so the
discussion would probably best suited on debian-www; in this case
please CC: me as I'm not subscribed there.

Thanks!

Greetings

           Helge
