Thanks for your report.
Actually, the issue is on the validator side, which reports them as
invalid, while the standard allows it, see
http://thread.gmane.org/gmane.linux.debian.devel.www/28544/focus=28636
and.
Since this issue has already been reported and is a false negative, it
will be closed (though I wonder if we should keep it opened as wontfix
so that people know it's not a problem).
