Fw: Debian - Sarge

Yet another evening wasted. Why can you people not make life a bit simpler? We do not all know linux inside out. We are not all experts with the linux prompt. Most of us are used to a GUI with a mouse and simple methods of installing packages. Not in the linux world. No, with linux you have to hide everything, require people to know at least 30 command line commands and switches (which aren't even explained) and then expect people to just wait around patiently for days because you can't be bothered to provide any form of support.

Why do you bother? I am the prime example of someone you want to draw away from windows. I've used it for 10 years and would swear by it (stupid I know). You linux guys always insist linux is superior. When push comes to shove I decide to give it a go. Then I find your packages are no longer available and because you hard coded the file paths into the installer (instead of using a http request and a remote script to determine where teh files are) I am suddenly stuck with an operating system that I can't use after spending ages installing it. There is no support other than this email address. And how many days will it even be before someone acknowledges this?
