Bug#385210: www.debian.org: Wifi harware compatibility list does not seam up to date

Package: www.debian.org
Severity: normal

I'd like to buy some 802.11g (or g+ ?) card, so consulted the debian
web site to know whitch hardaware works with debian...

http://www.debian.org/doc/  -> http://www.tldp.org/HOWTO/Hardware-HOWTO/nic.html
only refers one card «ZCOM WL2420 ISA Product information can be found
here. Object file kernel drivers are available here», without specifying neither its status nor its technologie 802.11b/802.11g/+ ? or is it PCI or PCMCIA?) .

I simply assume that others cards works fine with debian.
Since I will spent 40 euros to buy a card, I need to know which one I
have to choose.

Thanks.
