Debian used for DTP work
Hello,
I thought I would submit company info for your list as we are slowly
moving to 100% debian for our pre-press PDF production.
Information as follows.

4. Uses: We use Debian as our basic operating system on all our new
machines, we produce print ready PDF's using Scribus, Gimp and several
vector art programs, also using Xsane to scan. Right now one workstation
runs Debian while 3 others run Mac Os (two os 9, one Os 10.2.6).
Why we decided on debian is due to it's stability and it's apt-get
management, it allows far more adaptability than Rpm based distros. We
have Debian installed on a PC i686, it's performance is fantastic,
easily beating a G4 cube running OS X. We are planning in the next year
to install Debian on our macintosh workstations.
