Package: lists.debian.org
Version: N/A; reported 2002-10-21
Severity: normal

The website's subscribe.pl apparently doesn't like certain characters in
email addresses, although they are in fact RFC compliant. A dollar sign
is one example -- it returns ``Error: Bad data in e-mail address''
