The <define-tag pagetitle>[...]</define-tag> must be on the same line.

I have a comment about your title. It's a bad idea to put a <a href=
into the pagetile aera. When the title is repport on a other page, for example
debian-med/index.en.html you'll have :

<a href="./20021002">Talks at <a
href="http://www.linuxday.lu/";>LinuxDays Luxembourg 2002</a></a>
