Re: New deb mother tongue?

Thanks for writing. You're mistaken that my browser was set for Portuguese.
It was set en-us. Kaare suggested adding en, which succeeded in making
debian return English. The question remains why en-us doesn't work right.

You suggested that a proxy could be a problem, and that computer is behind a
firewall. So, I tested another computer not behind the firewall to see if
that makes a difference. That computer also returns Portuguese and has en-us
as the language specified in the browser.
