It cuts down on time, but it still takes lots of it. On a lot of pages, we
don't have any use for mp4h's <stuff> other than in the header and in the
footer.
So why not spend those eight seconds to generate the header and the footer
once, and then just change the really variable stuff like the date, the time
and the list of other available languages which would surely take much less?
Just a thought :)
