I think this is because mstone changed the format of filenames in 2001
without modifying all the function calls that check the format. Otherwise,
the switch to 2001 wouldn't have been troublesome as the english Makefile is
set to have a dependency on [0-9] or something like that, instead of a
concrete year.

I'll go do some grepping and updating now... I already noticed something
like this recently, but my last fix wasn't enough, apparently.
