Just to clarify for those who are confused:

England == the stuff south of Scotland and east of Wales (I doubt any
   English people will like that definition) 

Great Britain usually refers to England, Scotland and Wales, i.e. the
   "main island".

United Kingdom == England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland

I got this info from someone from the UK, so if you don't agree don't
take it out on me. :)
